We support people experiencing homelessness and home insecurity.
Anyone can find themselves homeless. It just takes life to not go as planned, for unexpected events to conspire against you, to have no support to help you through your crisis.
Our Mission
‘Our aim is to provide material, emotional and physical support to financially vulnerable individuals to alleviate the effects of food and housing poverty. Empowering individuals by providing information of services available to enable meaningful engagement to meet their direct needs.’

Founder
Hi, My name is Martin Atherton and I’m the founder and Director of Action For Homeless Liverpool CIC. Since 2014 I have worked as a volunteer supporting the street homeless and those in temporary/insecure housing around the North West.
I also have 25 years experience in Adult Health and Social Welfare in various roles (Team Leader, Senior Lead etc) supporting vulnerable people. I am empathetic, dedicated and determined to help people in need.
We are all volunteers at AFHL so all money raised ges directly into provisions and support to those in need.
